The Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit business organization of highly influential and diverse women and men dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women through avenues of leadership, education, advocacy and mentoring.
Women Stage of advancement

Women are now graduating from college and graduate school in greater numbers than men and entering the work force in equal numbers. But at each stage of advancement, men are at least twice as likely as women to move forward.

The proactive voice of business generally on key issues and legislation specific to women. Educate women on how to serve our community in the public/political arena and encourage women to run for public and public/private boards. Encourage voter registration and "get out the vote". Meets every 1st Tuesday, noon.
